Position: Running Back
School: Louisville
Status: Senior
Height: 6-1
Weight: 255
40-Yard Dash: 4.55 (EST)
Positives:
Bush has an exceedingly rare combination of skills at running back: he's big, powerful, quick, and has tremendous vision for the hole. Add that to a nose for the endzone and soft hands out of the backfield, and you've got yourself a hell of a prospect. He has the power to bowl over linebackers, and the speed and acceleration to run by many safeties in the NFL.

Negatives:
There's two major problems with Bush, however. He's coming off a major leg injury, and he just doesn't block very well at all. Some say his blocking is adequate, but if one actually looks at his blocking ability, it won't do a thing at the NFL level. It's terrible, really. He doesn't set well, doesn't use his hands well, and has a hard time holding the engagement.

Overview:
Bush is, as already stated, a rare prospect. The only thing holding him out of a top-20 draft status is the injury. If he has a strong Combine and shows he's healthy and ready to go, his status hits the elite level again. If not, he'll slip through the cracks, possibly as low as the late-second, or even the early-to-mid third. However, a team that gets him that late will very likely wind up with a steal on their hands down the line.
