Chiefs Draft Needs
Urgent: A strong run-blocking right offensive tackle to pair opposite Branden Albert is urgently needed. A franchise pass-rushing right defensive end to replace the departed Jared Allen is desperately needed. If the Chiefs do not think Tyler Thigpen is their quarterback of the future, then they need to draft a franchise signal caller.
Strong: A wide receiver to play opposite Dwayne Bowe, a tight end to groom behind Tony Gonzalez, an offensive guard to groom behind Brian Waters, and a corner to pair opposite Brandon Flowers are strongly needed.
Moderate: A starting defensive tackle to pair with Glenn Dorsey, a starting center, and a reserve linebacker are needed also.
Nice to Have: Wide receivers, offensive linemen, defensive linemen, and defensive backs are also needed.
Wild Card: Will Kansas City entrust their offense to Thigpen or draft a franchise quarterback?
