Steelers Draft Needs
Urgent: Despite winning their sixth Super Bowl, the Achilles heal of the Steelers was exposed -- their inconsistent offensive line. The offensive line must be rebuilt in order to provide the push in short-yardage situations and keep the pocket in tact in passing situations. New starters are needed immediately at center and both guard positions. A healthy young franchise left offensive tackle is needed to supplant the often injured Marvel Smith.

Strong: The Steelers need to draft a new powerful starting right offensive tackle, especially for goal-line situations. One day nose tackle Casey Hampton may become virtually immobile due to his girth. A new tackle needs to be drafted now. A kickoff returner who is game-breaker needs to be be drafted.

Moderate: Youth and depth at defensive end, corner, inside linebacker, and outside linebacker could also be addressed during the draft.

Nice to Have: Best possible players to increase team depth and help special teams would also be beneficial.

Wild Card: Will Roethlisberger survive another year of being pummeled by opposing defensive linemen?
