Seahawks NFL Draft Needs
Urgent: A franchise wide receiver to give any quarterback a chance is desperately needed. A franchise center to anchor the offensive line and invigorate the rushing attack is urgently needed. If Leroy Hill OLB is not resigned, there will be an urgent need for an outside linebacker.
Strong: A young athletic playmaking free safety to replace the medicore Brian Russell is strongly needed. A franchise left offensive tackle to groom behind Walter Jones is strongly needed.
Moderate: A third cornerback to push cornerbacks Marcus Trufant and Josh Wilson and play nickel back is needed. An extra pass-rushing defensive end is also needed.
Nice to Have: A project quarterback from a small school to groom for a few years.
Wild Card: How different will the Coach Mora era be? Have the Seahawks found their new starting left offensive tackle of the future in Kyle A. Williams? Will Seneca Wallace play more quarterback or wide receiver in 2009?
