One of Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner's favorite targets was Larry Fitzgerald, who played opposite Anquan Boldin at wide receiver. Fitzgerald racked up more than 1,300 yards receiving and double-digit touchdowns for the second year in a row during the regular season. His great hands and incredible body control allowed him to adjust as well to the ball in the air and pull it in as any receiver in the league. Simply put, he was a handful for any defensive back to handle one on one as the Philadelphia Eagles found out first hand in the NFC championship game in which he scored three touchdowns and racked up more than 100 yards receiving in the first half.
Fitzgerald continued to prove he was one of the most important players on the team and one of the best receivers in the league during the postseason by setting a playoff record with 546 receiving yards to go along with the seven touchdowns he posted. During Super Bowl XLIII, despite being shut down in the first half, he caught seven passes for 127 yards and two touchdowns.
