It's no secret San Diego Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson, although still effective, is no longer the dominating force he once was. Age, along with a heavy work load over the years, is catching up with the former MVP, and he's probably lost half a step or so. His play the past couple years has been hampered by injury as well.

While Tomlinson may no longer be able to make things happen quite as well on his own, he's hardly washed up. His yard-per-carry average is down to 3.3 from his career average of 4.3, but he has had his moments in 2009. His numbers may not reflect well when compared to his earlier years, but the Chargers aren't nearly as committed to the run as they were when LT was in his prime, and understandably so.

In 2009, Tomlinson ran for 730 yards and 12 touchdowns.
