Key Player: Plaxico Burress
Burress is by far the biggest playmaker on the Giants offense when he is healthy. The problem is, he's suffered through an ankle and knee injury over the second half of the season and hasn't been nearly as effective. When Burress is at his best, he makes QB Eli Manning a better player. If he continues to have problems planting and cutting, the team could struggle to make big plays in the passing game.

Key Players: Osi Umenyiora and Michael Strahan
The Giants defense thrives on pressure from it's defensive ends, and both Umenyiora and Strahan have had fine seasons. A huge key for the Giants in beating teams like the Cowboys, Packers, or Seahawks in the playoffs will be getting in the face of guys like Tony Romo, Brett Favre, and Matt Hasselbeck.

Take Aways: 25
Since winning six straight to close out the first half of the season, the Giants have put together back-to-back wins just once. Despite threatening to go into their annual second-half nosedive, the team managed to win four-out-of-six games down the stretch, solidifying their playoff position.
The inconsistencies that followed this team over the second half of the season as injuries mounted is likely to continue into the post-season unless they can protect the ball better. And though this team has the ability to hang with the rest of the NFC Field on any given day, a deep run into the playoffs isn't likely.
