Strengths:
Brett Favre may be on the downside of his career and sharing the load with running back Ahman Green these days, but he is still the heart and soul of this team which features one of the more explosive attacks in the league. Over the past couple season, the Packers have relied more heavily on using the run to set up the pass, which makes Favre that much more dangerous in play-action situations... especially with the emergence of wide receiver Javon Walker this season.
Walker has done a tremendous job making big catches for the Packers, and a bit of a resurgence by Donald Driver late in the season should help keep opposing defenses from focusing too heavily on the young playmaker.

Although his numbers were down during the regular season, Green put together another fine year as well with over 1,400 yards of total offense. Look for him to carry a heavy load in the playoffs as the Packers pick and choose their opportunities for the big strike downfield.

The Packers also possess one of the top offensive lines in the league. In 2004, they allowed an NFL-low 14 sacks and did a nice job of opening holes in the running game.
Weaknesses:
When defensive tackle Grady Jackson is healthy and playing well, Green Bay's run defense is respectable, but the Packers' pass defense has been inconsistent at best, and horrifying at its worst. Although they were forced into making the move, the loss of Mike McKenzie has had a negative impact on the secondary, which is very young and talented, but lacks experience. Blown assignments and missed tackle have plagued the Pack all season long.
Overview:
In a normal season, I wouldn't give the Packers much chance of getting out of the first round based on their porous defense. But with the lack of a truly dominating team in the NFC, now that the Eagles have lost receiver Terrell Owens, Green Bay has a chance to make some noise if they keep playing well.
