The St. Louis Rams would love nothing more than for running back Steven Jackson to stay healthy and once again become the workhorse he was back in 2006. But Jackson has been dinged up on a regular basis and missed eight games over the last two seasons. If he can stay on the field and regain his old form, it will make it much easier for quarterback Marc Bulger to regain his form as well, so Jackson's health is a big key for the coming season.
Despite missing four games in each of the last two seasons, Jackson still managed to post more than 1,000 yards rushing in each year. And his yard-per-carry average is still above four. So when he is on the field he apparently still has it. The question is, can he show it over a full 16-game season?
