Entering the season, it was assumed that Willis McGahee would be the featured running back for the Baltimore Ravens unless somehow rookie Ray Rice managed to take the job away from him. But by the end of the season, not Rice, but Le'Ron McClain was getting the bulk of the carries.
The second-year running back carried the Lion's share of the load for the last six games of the regular season, but his numbers weren't particularly impressive over that stretch other than a 139-yard performance against the Dallas Cowboys. He did manage to find the end zone 12 times this year, though. He also posted 902 yards rushing and 123 yards receiving.
