It may not show in his stats simply because of the role of a lineman in a 3-4 defense, but Haloti Ngata may be on his way to becoming the best overall lineman in the league. At 6-4 and 345 pounds, Ngata is far too big, powerful, and athletic for blockers to handle one on one. Constantly facing double teams, he still manages to clog the line and stuffs the run as well as anyone.
In 2009, Ngata recorded 35 tackles and 1.5 sacks.
