I have been to Ford Field for both football games and high school marching band competitions. The seats are comfortable and have adequate room. I like that they have cup holders. The restrooms are large and plentiful. Across the street from the stadium (an easy walk) is a parking garage. For football games, we have parked at off-site locations within a few blocks of the stadium and had no problem finding a spot.
Tailgating
We didn't tailgate.
Food
The quality was about an 8 out of 10, but the prices were very high. There were several choices near our seats, chicken strips, hot dogs, popcorn, a sit-down bar and grill, pizza, etc.
Fan Behavior
When I have been there for football, we were wearing Packer shirts and routing for "our" team and didn't receive any negative attitudes from the local Lions fans. It seemed very family friendly.
