Featured NFL Mock Draft - No.4

Submitted by NFL MVP

By , About.com Guide

17. Saints - Marlin Jackson CB Michigan 6'1 195
Every year they say they will take a corner and they don't, but this year it will be tough to pass on Jackson.

Other possibilities - Derrick Strait, DeAngelo Hall

18. Broncos - Derrick Strait CB Oklahoma 5'11 195
Derrick Strait is a great cover corner that would have been a first rounder last year. Deltha O'Neal is not the top notch corner they thought he was. They may take a look at Chris Gamble, but they need to go for the sure thing in Strait. Another possibility is Karlos Dansby to take over for the aging John Mobley.

Other possibilities - Karlos Dansby

19. Patriots (from Baltimore) - Stephen Jackson RB Oregon State 6'2 230
Stephen Jackson will be a steal here, but don't get too happy Patriots fans, because there will be other teams moving up to get him. Look for the Patriots to move up and draft this player.

Other possibilities - Johnathan Vilma, DeAngelo Hall, Derrick Strait

20. Packers - David Pollack DE Georgia 6'3 275
They desperately need help on the defensive line... anywhere on the line. They may also take J.P. Losman and groom him for a year or two under Farve, but that has never been a Packer trait. Look at the other QBs Farve groomed over the years... Mark Brunell, Aaron Brooks, Matt Hasseback.

Other possibilities - J.P. Losman

21. Bengals - DeAngelo Hall CB Virginia Tech 5'11 200
It is not a secret the Bengals need a corner, so they will draft the fastest guy in the draft in Hall. They may also take David Pollack and have a great pair of DE's with Justin Smith & Pollack, but a corner is more likely.

Other possibilities - David Pollack

22. Vikings - D.J. Williams OLB Miami (Fla.) 6'2 240
One thing for sure is that the Vikings will draft defense, and they will take the best player available.

Other Possibilities - Anything on defense

23. Seahawks - Darnell Dockett DT/DE Florida State 6'4 285
John Randle is old and the rest of the linemen are a bunch of has-beens. Dockett will bring versatility... kind of like John Randle in his old days.

Other possibilities - None

24. Dolphins - Nat Dorsey OT Georgia Tech 6'6 330
They overlooked the OL last year, kind of like the Chargers, and look what happened. They will take a look at a linebacker as well.

Other possibilities - D.J. Williams
