The Patriots totally dismantled the New York Jets on their way to their eighth straight regular-season win, and their 11th straight including the playoffs and Super Bowl. Tom Brady threw for two touchdowns, and Tebucky Jones and Victor Green scored defensive touchdowns as well.
Green Bay 20

Brett Favre's string of 158 straight passes without an interception ended when Darrin Smith picked one off in the first quarter. The Saints kept pressure on Favre all day, and held Green Bay to 95 yards on the ground. Deuce McAllister, who took over for Ricky Williams as the Saints' starting running back this season, rushed for 123 yards on 21 carries. The Packers' defense has surrendered 69 points in their first two games.
Cincinnati 7
Cleveland 20
Kenard Lang returned a Gus Frerotte interception 71 yards to set up a key touchdown as Cleveland rolled to victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. Kelly Holcomb filled in nicely again for Tim Couch, throwing for two touchdowns and 198 yards. Corey Dillon rushed for 108 yards on 22 carries in a losing effort for the Bengals.
Jacksonville 23
Kansas City 16
The Jaguars used a 79-yard touchdown pass and a 63-yard scoring run on consecutive plays in the fourth quarter to slip past the Kansas City Chiefs. Patrick Johnson took a Mark Brunell pass 79 yards for the tie-breaking touchdown. After the Chiefs punted, Fred Taylor burst through the hole and raced 63 yards to seal the win.

Ricky Williams ran for 132 yards and caught one touchdown pass, and the Dolphins defense picked off Peyton Manning three times as they held off a late rally to knock off the Colts. Marvin Harrison caught 11 passes for 144 yards and a touchdown.
Tennessee 13

Quincy Carter bounced back nicely from a shaky performance against the Texans with a 14-for-24 performance for 240 yards and no interceptions against the Titans. Emmitt Smith was held in check most of the day, picking up just 59 yards on 18 carries.

The Carolina Panthers are trying to rise up out of the depths of the NFL, and they have made great strides the first two weeks of the season. They may have been playing the Detroit Lions, but they looked good nonetheless. Julius Peppers emerged with three sacks and a forced fumble in the victory.
Tampa Bay 25

The offense couldn't produce a touchdown, yet Tampa Bay managed to rack up 25 points while shutting out the Baltimore Ravens. Karl Williams returned a punt 56 yards for a touchdown, Derrick Brooks scored on a 97-yard interception return, and the Bucs produced three long drives that resulted in field goals by Martin Gramatica.

The Chicago Bears escaped from the Georgia Dome with a victory Sunday when Atlanta kicker Jay Feely missed a 45-yard field goal with 56 seconds remaining in the game. Brian Urlacher led the Bears' defense with ten tackles, two sacks, and one forced fumble.
Arizona 24

Trent Dilfer's 15-game winning streak was halted by new division rival Arizona despite completing 29 of 47 passes for a career-best 352 yards and a touchdown. Thomas Jones rushed for a career-high 173 yards on 24 carries, and MarTay Jenkins had a 95-yard kickoff return in the fourth quarter.
NY Giants 26
St. Louis Rams 21
Kerry Collins started by hitting 14 of his first 15 passes, and ended 22-of-26 for 307 yards as the Giants and their stingy defense kept the Rams stumbling. Jason Sehorn scored on a 31-yard interception return, and Matt Bryant added four field goals for the Giants.

Brian Griese threw two touchdowns and Mike Anderson rushed for 95 yards as the Broncos knocked off an NFC West heavyweight for the second consecutive week. San Francisco continually shot themselves in the foot, committing 10 penalties for 114 yards.

The San Diego Chargers brought the Texans back to Earth with a convincing 24-3 victory. David Carr was sacked nine times, seven times in the second half, and intercepted twice. He completed just six of 25 pass attempts for 87 yards as he struggled to dodge defenders all afternoon.
Buffalo 45

In what was probably the day's most exciting game, the Buffalo Bills forced overtime on a 54-yard field goal that bounced off the crossbar, before Peerless Price took a Drew Bledsoe pass down the middle of the field for a 48-yard touchdown reception in the extra period. Daunte Culpepper, who was 25-of-45 for 281 yards, lost three fumbles that led to 13 Buffalo points.
Oakland 30

Rich Gannon threw an incredible 64 times, completing 43 passes, just two short of Drew Bledsoe's 1995 NFL record. Gannon finished with 403 passing yards and a touchdown. The Raiders threw almost exclusively in the first half, opening up a 17-10 lead. The Steelers turned the ball over five times including four fumbles.
