17. New England (Buffalo) - E.J. Henderson, LB, Maryland
New England's front seven is starting to show some age and has allowed some huge games by some running backs, so Henderson will step in and help immediately. He plays well against the run and pass with his ability to cover tight ends and backs out of the backfield.

18. Kansas City - Terence Newman, CB, Kansas St.
The Chiefs need some help stopping the big pass plays and it has to start at corner. Vermeil could go after his former Ram Dre' Bly and decide to go with Ohio St.'s Mike Doss instead.

19. Chicago - Jerome McDougle, DE, Miami
The Bears need a pass rush from the defensive line because right now they have a linebacker leading the team in sacks. They need to add depth at conerback, but I see them doing that in the second or third round. McDougle should be a good shot in the arm for that already good defense.

20. Jacksonville - Kindal Moorehead, DE, Alabama
Jacksonville seems to be set inside on the defensive line and with nagging knee problems, finding a replacement for Tony Brackens might be a priority.

21. NY Giants - Derrick Dockery, OG, Texas
The Giants' passing game has taken a huge step forward but a huge step back. Last year the debate was whether or not the Giants would take Shockey or go for offensive line help, the Giants went with the former, but this time around I think the Giants will go with a mauler to get a real push and open some holes for Tiki and Dayne if he's still around next season.

22. San Diego - Andre Johnson, WR, Miami
Marty Schottenheimer has brought new life to the Chargers, but they still need a real go to receiver to complement Tomlinson and Brees. Just look at last weekend's game against Denver and you'll understand why.

23. New England - Derrick Strait, CB, Oklahoma
Otis Smith is all I have to say about this pick, no further explanation is needed.

24. Indianapolis - Clifton Smith, LB, Syracuse
Rob Morris hasn't done what the Colts expected him to do coming out of college and even under Tony Dungy he hasn't shown any signs of coming around, which is why he has been replaced at the end of games by Sam Sword. Dungy wants to get faster on defense and adding a player like Smith would help.
