Spears is the best 3-4 DE coming out. Incredible size and speed. He will be a great addition to that already solid defense. At 6'4 300lbs he has more speed than some of the defensive tackles who are lighter than him.
13. Houston Texans - Alex Barron, OT Florida State (6'6 - 310 - 5.1)
David Carr finally gets his back side protection. He might not get sacked 40 times a year. Barron is a very physical left tackle with great foot work. While he won't be able to make an immediate impact, in the long term department, he looks very promising.
14. Carolina Panthers - Ronnie Brown, RB Auburn (6'1 - 225 - 4.4)
While other positions should be addressed, I wouldn't be surprise to see the Panthers take a shot at Ronnie Brown if he is available. Stephen Davis is on his last legs and Foster can't stay healthy. Brown is one of the best rounded RB in the draft and at #14 he would be a steal. Brown could easily be lined up with Foster to be used as a receiver, blocker or a rusher. Steal of the draft.
15. Kansas City Chiefs - Adam "Pac Man" Jones, CB West Virginia (5'11 - 185 - 4.4)
Chiefs could use an upgrade basically at every position on that defensive side of the ball. Jones brings speed and a physical style of play. He would be a great addition to that defense.
16. New Orleans Saints - Carlos Rogers, CB Auburn (6'1 - 195 - 4.5)
Rogers' stock sky rocketed with a great senior campaign. While New Orleans has other needs, a shut down CB is also needed. Rogers should be able to start right off the bat and make an immediate impact.
17. Cincinnati Bengals - Travis Johnson, DT Florida State (6'5 - 290 - 4.7)
Fast and quick defensive tackle with a lot of power. He will needed to be monitored, making sure he doesn't do anything to get him in trouble. With Tony Williams probably not coming back, Johnson will be a good addition.
18. Minnesota Vikings - Anttaj Hawthorne, DT Wisconsin (6'3 - 300 - 4.9)
No CB or S worth picking this high. With Hovan most likely gone, they are in need of a DT. Hawthorne is big DT who can play the run as well as rush the passer. Will need to focus, but when he does the results speaks for themself.
19. St. Louis Rams - Jammal Brown, OT Oklahoma (6'6 - 315 - 4.9)
Very agile for a big man and good foot work. He should be able to play either right or left side. Turley should be gone and Brown would replace him at that right tackle spot. He will definitely help out with the right side of their offensive line.
20. Dallas Cowboys (Buffalo) - Brodney Pool, FS Oklahoma (6'3 - 210 - 4.5)
This move will help out by allowing SS Roy Williams to play the run more. Pool isn't exactly a head hunter like Williams, but plays the pass well and won't miss a lot of tackles. He has a lot of upside and should make the Cowboys' safety duo one of the best in the league.
21. Jacksonville Jaguars - David Pollack DE Georgia, (6'3 - 260 - 4.7)
Never stop, never give up player. He has a good personality and is a good team player. At this point, anyone would be an upgrade over what Jax has on their DE corp, Pollack will bring a hard-nosed style of football that they need.
22. Baltimore Ravens - Troy Williams, WR South Carolina (6'2 - 200 - 4.4)
A great deep threat that the Ravens have been dying to get. While he isn't a good possession WR, he can learn. He has the physical tools to be a good WR. Boller has no more excuses and will have to thrive with Williams.
