About Football's Featured 2005 NFL Mock Draft III

Round 1

From Forum Member Pumbaa57, for About.com

25. Denver Broncos - Demarcus Ware, OLB/DE Troy
Last piece they need for a 3-4, since John Mobley and his neck are not coming around anyday soon. Also, probably the best player available at this point.

26. New York Jets - Jamaal Brown, OT Oklahoma
Losing Kareem McKenzie doesn't even sting at all anymore if Brown falls to the Jets here. Heath Miller would be an option after losing out on Jeb Putzier, but he wouldn't have as big an impact as Brown would.

27. Atlanta Falcons - Roscoe Parrish, WR Miami (Fla)
The never-ending search for someone for Mike Vick to throw the ball to continues as the Falcons pick a reciever who showed his potential at his pro day.

28. San Diego Chargers, Roddy White, WR UAB
The Chargers can add some speed to their receiving corps with this pick, and could quite possibly become one of the best offenses in the league.

29. Indianapolis Colts - Justin Miller, CB Clemson
The Colts need to start building their defense somewhere. If they lose Rob Morris by the draft, change this pick to Channing Crowder. If not, I think they go with someone like Miller.

30. Pittsburgh Steelers - Heath Miller - TE Virginia
Ben Roethlisberger wets himself in joy as pick 30 rolls around and Miller is still on the board. He replaces Burress' recieving and underrated blocking on the offense.

31. Philadelphia Eagles - Anttaj Hawthorne, DT Wisconsin
After Hollis Thomas publicly states that he wants to be traded, the Iggles either do it or throw it in his face by selecting Hawthorne, who in all honesty is too good to be the 31st pick in the draft.

32. New England Patriots - Channing Crowder, ILB Florida
May be Bruschi's replacement. A young, athletic backer who can drop into coverage probably better than any other LB in the draft.
