1. Detroit - LB - Aaron Curry - Wake Forest - I feel that a team this depleted of talent would do well to rebuild there overall talent levels before attempting to bring in another rookie QB. They currently have Daunte Culpepper on staff to start this season and a better quality QB pool coming out next season. OT Jason Smith could be another serious thought here but linebackers are harder to come by in this draft then Offensive tackles.

2. St. Louis - OT - Jason Smith - Baylor - Good teams are built from the inside out and the last couple seasons the Rams have spent their top pick on their defensive line. Now with Orlando Pace falling apart, it's time to spend on the offensive line. Signing center Jason Brown away from Baltimore was a good start but they need a left tackle to protect Bulger to keep him healthy and standing upright.

3. Kansas City - OT - Eugene Monroe - Virginia - The same logic can be used here adding Dorsey, Hali and Gilberry in the last couple years. But after trading for Cassell they are going to have to hurry up and revamp that offensive line and continuing by adding a left tackle, after Branden Albert last season, will be a vast improvement for their offense.

4. Seattle - QB - Mathew Stafford - Georgia - It's not often that a team two years removed from a Super Bowl is drafting this highly, but Seattle was riddle with injuries last season. And with their aging quarterback, in my opinion, they'd be smart to jump for the best QB in the class while they have time to let him set behind their current starter and learn the ropes before throwing him to the wolves. However, defensive tackle B.J. Raji and wide receiver Michael Crabtree could be real options here.

5. Cleveland - CB - Michael Jenkins - Ohio State - They spent several picks last year in trades improving their defensive line and Joe Thomas has been outstanding on the offensive line. But Lee Bodden, the only real cornerback on staff, was cut and the Browns depth chart is nonexistent. If they plan on competing in the division against Ocho Cinco and Hines Ward they need secondary help and fast.

6. Cincinnati - OT - Michael Oher - Ole Miss - After losing Stacy Andrews to Philadelphia, the Bengals need offensive line help. The last couple years their offense has been offset by injuries to Carson Palmer and as he goes so go the Bengals.

7. Oakland - WR - Michael Crabtree - Texas Tech - This team could use a lot of secondary help to play along side Nnamdi Asomugha, but owner Al Davis has spent a lot of time rebuilding his offense by drafting a round-one quarterback in JaMarcus Russel and a round-one running back in Darren McFadden. Logically I lean towards them continuing the trend and taking a big time wide receiver to make use of that strong arm from LSU.

8. Jacksonville - DT - B.J. Raji - Boston College - Losing Marcus Stroud to Buffalo really put a hurting on their run-stuffing defense. Adding another big body along side John Henderson should cure what ails them. They could also use a wide receiver but this class is deep and the top rated offensive line players they need have already jumped off the board (unless you are not alarmed by Andre Smith's poor footwork and combine early departure).

9. Green Bay - DE/OLB - Brian Orakpo - Texas - Hiring Dom Capers and making the switch to the 3-4 defense is going to mean that the Packers need to retrain some guys and bring in completely different types of players starting with some pass-rushing monster from the outside linebacker position. Orakpo is a beast, and in my mind a steal even at the ninth slot in this draft.

10. San Francisco - OL - Andre Smith - Alabama - Mike Singletary can get the best out of anybody, and if that's going to happen with Alex Smith or Shaun Hill then they are going to need to continue to rebuild their offensive line. Smith is a bit of a risk at this point, but San Francisco needs offensive line help in general, not just at tackle, so his footwork shouldn't be a concern, because if he can't hack it outside they can move him in to guard. They also need an outside linebacker unless Manny Lawson can step it up. But Everett Brown is the best 3-4 OLB on the board and this is a bit early to take him in my opinion.

11. Buffalo - LB - Ray Maualuga - USC - The Bills offense will get better with time and a tight end, but no TE is worthy of this high a pick, so improving their lack of pressure on the defensive side I think would make the most sense here. Trent Edwards, James Hardy, Lee Evans, and Marshawn Lynch are all young and improving, however only Paul Puzlusny has a promising future in their linebacking core.

12. Denver - RB - Knowshon Moreno - Georgia - Bringing in Brian Dawkins, Andra Davis, Renaldo Hill, and Darrell Reid helped to fill a lot of holes on this team, but J.J. Arrington and Correll Buckhalter won't move the chains. Last season the Broncos offense struggled because they couldn't run the ball, and even when their running backs are healthy they are all second tier backs. They are good enough of a team to draft the best available player and I feel that Moreno would help improve their team by leaps and bounds.

13. Washington - DE - Everett Brown - Florida State - Andre Carter is getting old and Jason Taylor is gone. Albert Haynesworth and DeAngelo Hall help fill some holes. The Redskins also need offensive tackle help, but the top four guys are off the board and it's a huge reach from here to the number five player.

14. New Orleans - LB - Brian Cushing - USC - Re-signing Jonathan Vilma helps their defense overall, but they can still use strong talent to attempt to improve their poor performance from last year. With their offense, which could use a running back, all they need to do is hold some people from scoring thirty a week against them and they could win the division.

15. Houston - LB - James Laurinaitis - Ohio State - Demeco Ryans has no help from the other linebackers, but bringing in defensive end Antonio Smith allows them the freedom to go out and find another backer to improve the defense while the offense jells. They also need secondary help, but nobody on the board rates this high.
