Bears Draft Needs: / Bears Draft Board
Urgent: 'Da Bears are perilously thin at both offensive tackle and wide receiver, being one injury away from a major crisis at both positions. Both an offensive tackle and a wide receiver must be drafted in the first two rounds if at all possible.
Strong: Due to the medicore play of Alex Brown and the age of Adewale Ogunleye, both a right defensive end and a left defensive end are also high priorities come draft day. A dominating pancake block-delivering offensive guard is also needed to open up the running game.
Moderate: The center of the future to be groomed behind Olin Kruetz, a reserve middle linebacker, a versatile reserve safety, and more depth at defensive tackle are also needed.
Nice to Have: A another young tight end, another young outside linebacker, and special teams stars would be nice to have.
Wildcard: Will Frank Omiyale and Chris Williams be 'da Bears 2009 starting offensive tackles?
Answers: Offensive tackle Jon Tait retired and will be missed. Safety Mike Brown was cut.
